Buy an artwork on Mojarto is easy. Just click on the Buy Now button, give your Shipping & Billing address and place the order! Our payment gateway allows you to pay by Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking. If you would like to pay by any other means, please give us a call and speak to an Mojarto team member.

Mojarto is a first and most importantly, a platform for the promotion of beautiful, original art. To help you prove authenticity, and for you to be able to sell in your artwork in the future, Mojarto issues you with an authenticity certificate from the artist that looks like this, on the purchase of any art, of our partner artists. However, if you are buying a work from a re-seller or gallery, you will receive a letter of authenticity signed by Mojarto, and backed by documentation by the re-seller/gallery.

If you follow an artist on Mojarto, you will receive an email every time that artist puts up new works for sale. If you are interested in adding a work by a specific artist, this is a good way to ensure you don’t miss out on a new work added on Mojarto.

Click the button to ‘Favourite’ artworks works as you browse, and view the list of your personal favourites together before making a final choice. It will help you eliminate options quicker than any other way. You can also share your list of favourites with someone else if you need a second opinion.

Your ‘favourites’ collection also helps us understand your tastes and style, and helps us suggest new artwork that may appeal to you.

All artwork on Mojarto is original art. In some cases, in addition to making the original available for sale, the artists have also made open edition prints available on paper and canvas. You can see all the wokrs available as prints.

In the case of re-sale artwork, the re-seller/gallery provides Mojarto with an authenticity certificate or the provenance of the artwork. You can also request to view these documents by writing to us at contactus@Mojarto.com. Do satisfy yourself as to the authenticity of these documents before buying an artwork. Also, don’t forget to confirm that you’ve received these documents along with the artwork, when you purchase it!

Prints are reproductions of an original artwork, printed on paper or canvas. Prints are a great buy for someone wishing to start collecting art, as they are affordable and low maintenance. Buy a print of a great piece of original art if you really want to see how art can transform a room or a space. They’re also great for young collectors, transit apartments, bachelor pads, hostel rooms and the like.

If you are a registered collector on Mojarto, you could receive Promo Codes from us. We offer promo codes to discerning and valuable customers so they can take advantage of a special discount or a scheme. Promo codes may be given to you for a particular artist, a popular lot no, a specific time period etc. or any other item. You can receive them over SMS, email or on the site itself, so keep your eyes open for them!

If you receive a promo code from Mojarto – whether over email, SMS or on the site itself – you can enter the details at the time of check-out to get a discount. Remember, you can’t use the same promo code more than once, and each promo code comes with an expiry date, so remember to use it before it expires.

Mojarto tries to help you choose art carefully through many features on our site. Remember, there is no ‘right’ way to select art, so you should just choose what appeals to you.

First, try using our filters on the Artworks section. They let you shortlist artworks by colour, placement etc, which will really help narrow your choices down. As you browse, use the ‘favourite’ button to compile a list of favourites that you can return to, or share with someone else. Once you’ve narrowed your choices down even further, try ArtonWall TMto see what it looks like, and really visualize the artwork in your home. There may be times when despite all your efforts, you haven’t found a piece of art that really speaks to you. Or, you may have a specific need in mind – like matched pieces, or a very large oil on canvas in a warm colour or some specific artist – that you couldn’t trace on the site. Or you may be an interior designer who needs a large number of artworks to do up an entire home or office space.

Whatever your need, our art advisory team will help you find, shortlist, visualize and finally purchase the art of your dreams. We will take your requirements, identify and shortlist works, and even create a lookbook, so you can find the right piece of art.

It is true that different mediums all have qualities unique to each of them. For example, at least some of the beauty of oil on canvas stems from the techniques used by the artist in layering, texturing to give depth to a work. On the other hand, watercolours are more moody, and its colours have a huge impact on a space – ranging from bright and vibrant to dark and impressionistic.

However, at Mojarto, we’d always recommend that you choose a piece of art not by the medium but on the basis of how it speaks to you. Keep in mind though, that different mediums require different kinds of care and handling, so you might want to eliminate choices on this basis. For example – moist and humid climates aren’t the best environments for paper works, and they’ll need to be glass mounted.

The photographs on the Mojarto site go through many quality checks before it is uploaded, so it’s as close to the original as you’ll get in a photo form. If anything, the work will usually look better in reality. However, the impact of art depends on many different things - the size, the mount, the frame, the light received on the surface, and many other factors. Also, they don’t have intrinsic value, and so can’t be looked upon as investments.

Open edition prints are reproductions of an original piece of art on paper or canvas, and can be re-printed as long as the artist wishes them to be available. The Paper and Canvas prints available on Mojarto are open edition prints.On the other hand, limited edition prints are printed by the artist who is a print maker and usually prints a limited series. These prints can be etchings, wood cuts, lithographs, or serigraphs. They are hand printed by the artist and normally are numbered as ‘ 1 of 10’, ‘2 of 10’ etc.. These are as good as original works of art.On Mojarto, we allow artists to open up their works to open edition prints, so collectors can have the option of purchasing a print in case you do not wish to buy the original. Open edition prints are far more affordable but also lack the intrinsic investment value that an original has.

On Mojarto, print sizes vary, depending on the size of the original artwork, but are usually no larger than a maximum size of 22-36 inches. In the case of small prints, unless the space you intend to install it in is also small, you may want to buy a pair, a trio, or a set of four to really increase the impact of the installation.

No, the prints will be shipped to you rolled. You will have to mount and frame the Paper prints, and stretch and frame the Canvas prints.

Depending on where you are in the world, the delivery of your artwork will take approximately 7-15 days from the time that you place the order. We will do our best to keep you informed at every stage, and you will be notified of the courier details by email and SMS. In most cases, you can also track the shipment online.

Mojarto tries its best to get your artwork to your home as soon as possible. You will receive SMSs and Emails from us at every stage of the process, but don’t forget to ensure that your contact details with us are updated, and correct!

Once you’ve received your artwork and are satisfied about its arrival, the authenticity certificate and courier condition, you need to confirm the receipt of your order to us. We would love to hear your feedback at this point – both on the artwork, as well as on the Mojarto experience. Please also do try to send us pictures of your art in its new home! We know you’re disappointed about receiving an artwork that has been damaged in transit. Don’t worry, all you need to do is send us photographs of the artwork, indicating the nature of the damage at contactus@mojarto.com.. We will assess the claim and issue you a credit note if found valid.

The Shipping condition of each work is mentioned alongside its details on the website. However, normally, Mojarto prefers to courier artworks ‘rolled’ to minimize the chances of damage in transit. Another reason for this is that we believe that you should have the choice of framing the painting the way you want. Installing a piece of art is a beautiful process, and part of the joy of owning the artwork comes from the installation

On Mojarto, you can buy a gift voucher to present someone else with a thoughtful, tasteful gift for any occasion. This voucher is be an online voucher valid for one year from the date of purchase, which gives the person receiving the gift the flexibility to explore and buy a piece of art they will love at their convenience.

Unfortunately no, Mojarto does not accept refunds of Gift Vouchers. We do hope that you never have cause to do so though.

Yes! The Gift Voucher carries the name of the sender as well as the receiver. And you can add a personal message to the receiver to include it in the email that carries the gift voucher.

Unfortunately, no, Mojarto does not presently allow refunds of Gift Vouchers for any amount. You can however, choose to buy multiple artworks to ensure the total comes up to the amount available on the voucher.

There is always a small chance that an artwork can damaged in transit. In case the buyer claims that the artwork was damaged in transit, Mojarto will investigate the claim. If we find the claim valid, the buyer will be instructed to send the artwork back to you. To avoid such a scenario, we recommend that you use one of our recommendedand pack the artwork carefully, and as per our guidelines.

We love people who buy multiple pieces of art from us! If your purchases total up to the amount on the voucher or less, you can purchase as many pieces as you want. However, you need to buy all these pieces in one go. You cannot make two different purchases at different points of time as we currently don’t allow partial redemption of our vouchers.

Unfortunately not! We don’t accept partial redemption of our vouchers. You can however, choose to buy multiple artworks to ensure the total comes up to the amount available on the voucher.

Art is unique, delicate, and exclusive. It often takes days, sometimes months to complete a single work of art. Due to its fragile and singular nature we are unable to allow returns. Hence, we urge you to be certain of your decision before purchasing. We are always available to ensure the art you see, is the art you get. If you're in doubt, you can always ask for additional images of the artwork.

However, there may be times when you receive an item in damaged condition, in which case we will ensure a resolution keeping in mind your interests. This may be through repair, exchange, or return of the product.

India Shipping is free for all products. International shipping charges are volumetric and will be mentioned at the time of check out. Please select Shipping Country on the cart page to know the costs. We will deliver within 15 – 21 days of sales.

NO Cancellation policy - Should a Seller become aware of any reason which may cause a delay in delivery of an Artwork, seller will notify OnArt immediately of such reason and expected delay time. On being so notified, OnArt may attempt to contact the concerned Buyer and/or offer a refund with regard to such sale of the Art Work and/or cancel the order with respect to such Art Work.
