Atish Mukherjee’s fascination with folk-art led him to experiment with forms and concepts. This work too reflects his deep understanding of folk and rural art, and his perception of certain elements of nature which he uses to depict human feelings, instincts, and relationships. Atish’s terracotta sculptures, like his paintings, are one of a kind, as he is constantly reinventing himself. The sizes and weights given are for each piece...there are 2 owls in this work.
