The fear and dissatisfaction arising out of alienation from the society force me to concentrate on my inner being. I find myself as a dreamer awake in isolation. Subjectively significant experience comes in my painting through the process of condensation. Churning the sea of desire, may there be some unacceptable feeling substituted, to the process of thought crystallisation, to fantasy. My works may be regarded as a glimpse of another state of being. As if, I am looking at the world, even at myself, as an outsider. As a painter I put myself as a creator of the limitless regions beyond the Earth and have a dual role-that of a participant and that of a spectator as well. Stretched across a wooden frame, mystery and fear of the unknown and the cry of the animal in man, littered with love and pain. Dreams knock harder, they reign over age.
